Become a Forever human for a dog

If you want protection and cuddles, I am definitely your dog! I am very cute and friendly with humans, but a bit bossy with other dogs. You can train me, because I am a very smart girl, and if you rub my belly everyday we can surely be friends forever. I am protective and I am the farm's guard 24 hours a day, keeping watch at the front entrance. But deep down...there's nothing more that I want than a loving home.

The most wonderful, calm and dependable dog there is. He’s smart, kind and incredibly handsome. A silent strength who tunes into your mood. He is always by your side without compromising his independence. He will give you more than you will ever be able to give to him.

Smart, friendly, handsome, playful and easy to train. The undisputed leader of his group of dogs due to his great intelligence and strong character. Sociable with other dogs and good communication with humans. He will not only be your best friend but also your assistant and faithful companion.

Eugene has so much love to give and is longing for a family of his own. He is a lovely natured boy. Energetic, happy and affectionate. Full of the joy of being alive.

The amount of love and respect these two brothers have for each other is inspiring to watch. They are calm, affectionate and patiently wait their turn to be played with. The two sweet grandads of Vrouva would like to live out their story in a warm and loving home together instead of a cold doghouse. They are very low maintenance, all they need is a bowl of food, a bit of love and a short walk.

Greek harehound
Funny, friendly, calm, trainable and agile. Nicknamed Nureyev due to his beautiful high leaps! He is a gentle soul and careful with new people at first. Very intelligent and needs a family to develop his full potential to becoming the exceptional companion he’s destined to be.

Shepherd mix, known to be protective.
Smart, affectionate and a great guard dog. Once he gives his heart to somebody, he will be there for them for life. He has undergone basic training and is best suited to being with an experienced owner.

A gorgeous, dependable Shar Pei mix who enjoys having fun with people. He is a team player, loyal companion and wants to be helpful to his person. He is sociable with other dogs, but cats tend to annoy him a little. A fantastic dog all round who loves his sister Peggy and would love to share a home with her.

A Shar Pei mix who is fun, affectionate and playful. No-one has had the time to train her so she can misbehave at times. She would be the perfect companion for someone with some experience, a sense of humour and an appreciation of her cheeky and fun-loving nature. Her ideal home would include her handsome and wonderful brother, Marlon.

Ramon was abandoned as a puppy close to the Wildlife Centre in Aegina. Luckily he was found with his sister Roxani (who has been adopted) and was able to be raised there. When it closed down he was eventually moved to Vrouva and all who meet him fell in love with his soulful eyes and gentle nature. He fell in love with us too and is always happy with cuddles and being around people.

When Rea came to us she was traumatized and in shock. Someone had thrown poison into an enclosure that she was sharing with other dogs and she was the only one to survive. She’d had to helplessly watch while her friends died of poisoning. It has been wonderful watching her slowly lose her haunted, traumatized look and to begin to trust people and enjoy life again. Now Rea runs and jumps with happiness at the sight of her favorite people. She’s playful, affectionate and happy.

Greek Kokoni mix. MUST be homed together!
Affectionate, playful and super-cute. They both have a sunny temperament and a love for life. They have a unique communication between themselves because they are blind and navigate through life seamlessly using the rest of their heightened senses.

Ricky – goofy, funny and inquisitive. He’s on an endless mission for the last hidden morsel of food.

Sophie – the ultimate cuddle bug who has perfected walking upright on her back legs in order to enable her human to pick her up.

Spirta is a lovely natured dog, even though her early years were very difficult and she was treated badly. Once she feels comfortable with people she is a wonderful companion. Full of fun, affectionate, clever, very loyal and willing to please. She loves going on walks and being outdoors.
